GDPR & Account Deletion

Last updated: August 29, 2026

Nudgr is built by Linri AB (Sweden, EU), so every Nudgr app falls under the GDPR. This page explains how to close and delete your account, and how to exercise your other rights. For the full picture of what we store, see the Privacy Policy.

Delete your account from inside the app

You do this yourself, in the app — you do not need to email us and wait for a reply. Any Nudgr app you are signed in to can delete the account, and it deletes the same account everywhere, since one Nudgr account is shared across the apps.

Settings → Danger zone → Delete account

Confirm when asked. The request is registered immediately and you are signed out.

  1. Open any Nudgr app on any platform — Windows, Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac, or the web.
  2. Make sure you are signed in with the account you want to remove.
  3. Go to Settings and scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom.
  4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

The 14-day grace period

Deletion is not instant, on purpose. Your account is marked for deletion and there is a 14-day grace period before anything is erased — so an accidental tap, or a bad day, is not the end of your data.

What gets deleted

Data stored only on your own device is not touched by a server-side deletion. Uninstall the app, or clear its data, to remove that copy as well.

Apps without an account

Some Nudgr apps — Nudgr Scratch Pad, for example — run entirely on your machine and never ask you to sign in. There is no account and no server-side copy to delete: uninstalling the app removes everything.

If you cannot reach the Danger zone

Lost the device, cannot sign in, or the app will not start? Email privacy@nudgr.eu from the email address the account uses and ask us to delete it. Sending from that address is how we verify the request is yours. We handle these manually and confirm within 30 days, as the GDPR requires — usually much sooner.

Your other GDPR rights

Beyond erasure, you can also ask us to:

Email privacy@nudgr.eu from your account's address and we will answer within 30 days, free of charge.

Data controller

Linri AB, Sweden (EU) is the data controller for Nudgr. Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union and is never sold or shared with third parties. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in Sweden, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
